Originally from Washington, DC, Sasha Perkins began her training at the Maryland Youth Ballet before entering The Washington Ballet's Pre-Professional Division under Xiomara Reyes and Julie Kent. She has attended summer intensives at the Houston Ballet and San Francisco Ballet, where she has received scholarships, as well as the Joffrey Ballet, The Royal Ballet School, Dance Theater of Harlem, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and Ballet West. After graduating high school in 2022, Sasha began her studies at Barnard College with majors in Economics and History and is ecstatic about becoming a part of CBC's board.
