Emi Horkan grew up in California’s Bay Area, training locally before joining the San Francisco Ballet School, where she performed with San Francisco Ballet in Don Quixote and in Alexei Ratmansky’s The Seasons. She completed her high school education at Canada’s National Ballet School, graduating in 2024.
Her summer studies have included an exchange with the Royal Danish Ballet’s Apprentice Program and intensives at The Royal Ballet School, American Ballet Theatre, and English National Ballet School.
At Columbia College, Emi plans to major in Financial Economics and is excited to join the CBC board after performing with the collaborative during her first two semesters!
