Friends of CBC

The Friends of CBC is a community of supporters whose generous contributions allow Columbia Ballet Collaborative to continually grow, improve the quality of our performances, and embark on new initiatives. These supporters are Columbia students, alumni, family, and friends, as well as patrons outside of the Columbia University community who are inspired by CBC’s mission and dedication to excellence. We are truly grateful for our Friends and their support of our organization.

As of fall 2024, Barnard is no longer allowing dance clubs to book space. CBC now must consider off campus studio rentals a regular part of our budget, which greatly increases our semesterly expenses. This semester’s production costs alone exceed $22,000, driven by the need to rent rehearsal space across three off-campus studios and the Citigroup Theatre, the incredible lineup of choreographers we have, and the licensing and staging costs of a Balanchine ballet.

Every gift, at any level, goes directly toward rehearsal space, production costs, and the ability for Columbia's student dancers to train and perform at a professional level.

If you would like your gift to be tax-deductible, please complete this form so we can properly acknowledge your gift and connect it to your contribution.
