Free Open Ballet Class
We offer free ballet classes on Saturdays from 12:30-2:00 at Bridge for Dance (2726 Broadway 3rd Floor). Class is only open to current Barnard/Columbia students and alumni.

Please join the open class mailing list below. Each week, the assistant artistic director will email a link to register for that Saturday’s class.

No specific attire is required to take class although it is recommended to wear form fitting clothes which allow a range of movement. Dance wear can be purchased locally in NYC at Bloch, Capezio, or OnStage Dancewear.
If you do not have ballet flats, socks are acceptable.

Classes are open to people with all levels of ballet experience. Some classes may be more catered to certain levels and this will be indicated in the pre-registration form.

Classes begin the week after auditions and conclude the weekend before CBC’s performance.
