Jacob Glendenning is a movement artist from Cleveland, Ohio. He moved to New York City to study at the Joffrey Ballet School and has toured internationally with the Peridance Contemporary Dance Company. Drawing inspiration from nature and the instinctual intelligence of the human body, his choreography explores the space between structure and spontaneity, inviting performers to move from an authentic, embodied place. He has had the privilege of sharing his practice as a dance educator and setting work in six different countries. He has performed on stages and screens around the world—working with Gucci and other fashion brands in London, appearing in projects featured on Netflix, and taking part in large-scale events, including the televised New Year’s Eve Ball Drop in Times Square.
