Outreach
Columbia Ballet Collaborative’s Outreach Program was created to bring ballet to the Columbia-Harlem community and expand the role of dance in education. Classes are designed to have students learn basic ballet steps and terms with added information about the creative components that go into making a ballet. Through lecture demonstrations and class series, CBC dancers provide participating students the opportunity to explore new movements and gain knowledge about the creative process that encompasses ballet.
