Tom Gold is an internationally known dancer and choreographer.
He was a soloist with the New York City Ballet performing for them for the past 21 years in leading roles by Balanchine, Robbins, Lynne Taylor Corbett and William Forsythe. In 2002 Susan Stroman created the full-length ballet “Double Feature” for Mr. Gold.
He has performed as a guest artist with THARP!, Donald Byrd the Group, the New York City Opera and many companies throughout the U.S.
In 2008 he founded his own company tomgolddance which has toured to France, Italy, Spain, Bermuda, Israel, and throughout the U.S..
His choreographic achievements include works for his own group, New works at the Miller Theater at Columbia university “ Works and Process at the Guggenheim”, Griflekin The Opera at the Manhattan School of Music, Oregon Ballet Theater, Ballet Met, New York City Ballet, Orlando Ballet, St. Louis Ballet, Vassar College, Ballet School of Stanford, Ballet Excel Ohio, The Portland Ballet, The Tree lighting at Lincoln center, Balanchine on Broadway at Studio 54, Ballet Academy East, An Evening of Tango at the Miller Arts Center, 2wice Magazine The Bravo TV series Odd Mom Out, and The Macy’s Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade.
