Max Goldner is a choreographer currently pursuing his B.A. in Urban Studies with a specialization in Architecture at Columbia University. Raised in South Orange, New Jersey, Goldner trained under Lydia Johnson, where he began exploring his passion for choreography, and at Vassar College under the direction of John Meehan and Steve Rooks. His recent works include Brotsjór (Breaker), Human Mechanics, Mishegas, and Detached, choreographing for companies including the Vassar Repertory Dance Theatre at the Bardavon Opera House. Goldner is excited to choreograph for CBC as part of his junior year at Columbia, and will also be choreographing his piece SEE ME for the MaMa Project at Columbia this coming spring.
